I am currently obsessed with clogs. Ok, I know many of you may be asking yourself, "Clogs? Really?" Yes, really. The obsession started innocently enough but now it seems that there are clogs (or rather clog-esque) shoes everywhere I look. The clog has remained true to itself but has also been updated with a wooden platform heel. The perfect summer shoe to pull an outfit together.

Bluesy
"I wrote this rhyme in the rain, the rain started pouring and I whispered your name, your name passed my lips and I thought of your frame, and how you move when we're doing our thing, how we act like the yin and the yang, like two separate parts that's one in the same. This feeling is enormous, I can't ignore and not send you a chorus but I rather refrain... This is not a game but I write you a score, sing a million notes then write you some more... One kiss for every grain of sand on the shore, until your heart fell down on the floor... She said I know you keeping it raw, but if you don't love me, what we doing this for?...It was fun while it lasted, but in the book of life all chapters must come to a close I guess.."

Sandra Backlund, You're AMAZING!
Sandra Backlund is my idol. Anyone who knows me is well aware that I am obsessed with knitwear. So it's only natural that I worship this woman. She hails from Sweden and her work is impeccable. Her garments are hand knit and she builds shapes until she produces a final product. If I could have a glimpse inside of her mind...

I have to take a moment to focus on one of my favorite designers, Costello Tagliapietra. I simply adore them! Their collection for Fall 09' is gorgeous and the drapery is stunning. I need all of it but here are some of my favorites:
